Limited Lifetime Warranty
IF THE PRODUCT BREAKS we will do our best to remedy the situation. 80HD Fab products carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects. 80HD Fab must authorize all returns, and we must receive the entire system (inclusive of both head pipes, muffler body, mounting bracket, and exhaust gaskets) for full inspection prior to approving warranty claim. 80HD Fab reserves the right to refuse a warranty claim upon inspection of said parts.
Below are just a few examples of items that are covered:
- broken welds
- exhaust leaks caused by improper or inadequate welds
- broken exhaust mounts
DISCOLORATION
Stainless systems are designed to have character. Natural coloring will occur from heat cycles on the bike. Depending on the tune, outside temperature, dyno runs, etc some pipes will change colors faster than others. There is nothing wrong with color change as this is expected. Some other factors that may contribute to discoloration would be: improper air/fuel ratio, dirty pipes, long periods of idling, or slow speed travel under load. Discoloration is not a manufacturing or process issue. 80HD Fab does not warranty bluing or discoloration.
HOW IS A WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESSED?
To obtain authorization to return a part under warranty, contact 80HD Fab at [email protected]. We will provide a Return Authorization number (RA), together with details explaining how to return the product. All shipping costs must be prepaid by the shipper.
